Doughnut
Quality , as per, Terry. I just posted on my thread, that I've been looking forward to an update on Glebe Rd. and you've already done one. Must say, the Intercity 47 at the foot of the retaining walls caught my eye. Very tasty indeed! Dave
Jintyman
Yes I think 47's are just about top of the list for me. Although I've been treading in type 5 Brush territory lately with a few 56's and 60's!!!! Jinty ;-)

hybridangel77
Evening all. This week i have been working on the scenery around the TMD shed. Ballast has been added and weathered using an airbrush and some static grass has also been added with bushes etc. Still lots more to do around the area with clutter to be added as well as the shed interior.
Jaz
Evening all. This week i have been working on the scenery around the TMD shed. Ballast has been added and weathered using an airbrush and some static grass has also been added with bushes etc. Still lots more to do around the area with clutter to be added as well as the shed interior. This part of the layout has really benefited from what you have learned along the way. I love the colours. And those bushes are not cheap, but they photograph so well. and I like the detailing of the bits where some work has been started and not tidied up. I also like the grass, excellent colour mixing, oh I am not mentioning everything, I like it all........

Jintyman
Hi Terry, You just have a way with greenery, it all seems so lifelike, obviously a well studied subject or a natural flair. Either way, it looks amazing. And that Sentinal is still the mutts................ Jinty ;-)

Either way, it looks amazing. And that Sentinal is still the mutts................ Jinty ;-) I do tend to study the real world a lot and try to add what i see to the layout and make it as realistic as as i possibly can which i think is an important part of building a model railway. I think a lot of people tend to just stick down grass and bushes in one certain colour and just leave it but i spend a lot more time in adding lots of various colours and then i get out the airbrush and lightly mist all grass and bushes in different colours to make it look realistic.

hybridangel77
Hi all This week has been very productive and a lot of work has been done to the layout. The TMD area is now almost complete apart from the finer details which still need to be added. Photos of the work will follow but first are some photos of my new arrivals. A Bachmann class 37 in Intercity livery and a Hornby class 31 Railfreight red stripe. Both need to have detailing packs added and a coat of grime.
