18B
Good afternoon Having be pointed inthe direction of the excellent BRdatabase, I was looking at Wath's allocation history, it points to there having been an early allocaton of EM1's 26002 & 26003 EM1 EM2's 27000 and 27001, and whilst I've no reason to doubt the site, suprisingly the books "An Illustrated history of the Woodhead" "Woodhead the Electric Railawy" and the foxline books etc, don't give an info on where the loco's were allocated except of course to illustrate Reddish as where I understand they were all allocated post 1954? Anyone who can confirm or add weight to the loco's being allocated to Wath would be much appreciated regards
D1001
I'm not certain but I believe Reddish depot wasn't open in time so the early EM1's were sent or maybe lent to Wath and Gorton pending Reddish's opening.

JeffP
In late steam days, I do remember Reddish didn't have a shedcode. It just appeared in the book after the loco number as "Reddish".
