RMweb Gold The Pilotman Posted January 31, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 31, 2013 Does anyone have access to a timetable of the main line through Cornwall in the 1980s? Table 135 rings a bell but I can't remember if that only had the trains from London. I would like to create an authentic operation for my layout based on the Cornish main line. Many thanks. Torr Giffard LSWR 1951-71
Aft'noon, Google Stewart Blencowe Railway Ephemera of Gloucester, ring him and tell him the year that you desire and the section of line. He'll sell you a Working Timetable for a sensible price containing much more info than just the public passenger timetable. Cheers Dave
Rivercider
Yes table 135 in the Public Timetable was London and Bristol - Torbay, Plymouth and Penzance and it does include local Cornish workings like Penzance - Plymouth for example. I agree with Dave that a WTT for the area will give you a much better idea of what ran (empty stock/parcels etc) cheers
