Just painted another batch of figures, but had one with no where to go so "Bill" ( leaning on an oil drum) joined Dai, Evan and Mr. Jenkins at the garages.

That veiw reminded me of a back street in Newtown from the 1960's when we stayed with a friend there...

 

Went and saw a Std 4 on cement trains for the Clywedog Reservoir construction shunting in Newtown goods yard one evening....  Must have been 1966/67

It reminds me of the sort of places we used to play as ten year olds, that were fast being bulldozed to build pokey little houses on.

Picking up souvenirs before the scrap men did started off a lifelong interest in vintage vehicles.
