Andy1963
Hi, does anyone know if anyone has ever made flush glazing for Lima mk 3's, and in particular the buffet car? I have replaced all my HST rake mk 3's with the Hornby version, but my buffet car is my power car (with a Bachmann class 159 chassis) and I can either cut and shut a Hornby mk 3 buffet, or flush glaze the Lima version. I suppose laser glazing would also be an option, but again, I don't know if anyone hase ever done it.
steveb860
Have a look at Shawplan laserglaze, they probably do it. Steve

RMweb Premium Ian J. Posted February 26, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 26, 2013 I recommend the shawplan laserglaze, as per the link above. I did a Lima aircon Mk2 a while back (there was a thread here about it too) and the difference after fitting was remarkable. Andy1963
Hi guys, thanks, that just what I need. Not cheap, but still cheaper than cutting up a Hornby Mk3 buffet.
