QABBIS
update Central river from the power station ready. On the left will be a small village and on the right my central station. But next is the landscaping near the power station on the left and the fitting of a cable car on the right. Canal walls are paper models and the pedestrian bridge is scratch built with textured paper.
QABBIS
Just finished installing an old brawa cable car kit on my layout. Heavily modified to suit my needs, it took around 30hrs to fit and adjust. This includes all the buildings and scenery that go with it which is all scratch built. Below a couple of video link of the cars in operation with the trains on the upper level.

QABBIS
Hi all I have managed to put in some solid hrs over the holidays hitting a very important milestone. All the rails have been connected. I have managed to iron out all the kinks and the multitude of electrical problems that crop up and the layout is now a go. I have also inserted a turntable and rounhouse in my small yard but have not tested yet. Obviously countless hrs are now needed for ballasting and landscaping but am happy with the result. After the pics click on the video url to see the one complete circuit of the layout. At a very reasonable speed, the train took 8.5 minutes which gives me a lot of space to run a lot of trains. QABBIS
Hi Just a quick update. I have now started to move down from mid level, laying the track with ballast and finishing the scenery. Took a few experiments to get the colour of the ballast I wanted but am happy with the result. Track is not yet weathered. I will do that last in one go.
