RMweb Gold martin_wynne Posted March 16, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 16, 2013 Seems ok. How long did you wait after uploading to YouTube? It can take a while before the video is processed for HTML5 streaming. Flash video is not available on Apple devices. Which browser are you using on which device? Try adding media tags like this: Martin.

RMweb Gold Mikkel Posted March 17, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 17, 2013 Interesting. Sasquatch recently had the same problem in the blog entry here. Yet I could embed his video with no problems. I use Chrome so I guess it is a browser issue.
RMweb Gold martin_wynne Posted March 17, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 17, 2013 is there a way to get it to work with internet explorer? dont know whats better or worse, but I cant really get along with chrome You could try sending an email to Microsoft and asking them. It's probably OK with IE9 and IE10. But if you don't like Chrome why not try Firefox? Martin.
RMweb Gold Tony_S Posted March 17, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 17, 2013 Just as a matter for interest (?) embedded youtube videos on RMweb don't display or run if I use the Metro version of IE10 but they do if I switch to the desktop version. If the video url is entered into either version of IE10 it works.
Robin2
I know this is a very old Thread but it seems the most relevant from those I found by searching "embed Youtube video" I made this Post a long time ago and the video embedded nicely. But when I tried with a new Thread yesterday I could not get the video to embed itself. Maybe someone can post a step-by-step guide? The URL for the older video is and the entry in my post (which I can see when I click EDIT) is The URL for the new video is http://youtu.be/BKAK5AGLUCk. Thanks ...R
Robin2
This seems like madness. When I posted the previous Reply both references to the older video showed up in my Reply #17 but the reference to the new video does not. ...R
RMweb Gold martin_wynne Posted April 26, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 26, 2017 Put the link on a line by itself. Try again with https, but both are working for me. https://youtu.be/BKAK5AGLUCk Martin.
Robin2
Thanks Martin. Hopefully it will appear here https://youtu.be/BKAK5AGLUCk Nope. Just to be clear, I pressed RETURN to go to a new line. I then clicked the LINK icon and then pasted the "https://youtu.be/BKAK5AGLUCk"into the box headed URL JEEZ - it is just too simple I should not have bothered with the LINK icon Thanks again ...R
