dseagull Posted March 28, 2013 Share Posted March 28, 2013 My Sentinel took a whack the other night (my own fault, I put it on top of the layout and then lifted said layout up to check something, without thinking). It has been repainted and detailed, so my amendments will have rendered it out of warranty (as well as the damage being very much my fault). Anyway, they are clearly well built as the damage wasn't bad, it still runs perfectly and I didn't even notice at first(!). However - one of the buffers was bent, and the impact also damaged the shank - you can just about see it on the second photo here (Nearest buffer to camera). I can live with it if I have to - the buffer has glued back OK, although the shank looks a little rough! - but if there are any aftermarket ones (or sprung ones maybe?) available, then I might as well go the whole hog and fit them.
