Gunther Products

Hello all,

 

            I model diesel/electric era British 4mm, however, in detailing my locos, I have in the past used Gunther Models windcreen wipers.

 

They are a lovely little moulding and look the part on 4mm Diesels.

 

The problem is, wherever I have bought them in the dim and distant past, I cannot remember ( it would more than likely be at an exhibition somewhere ). Sadly, the chap who originally produced these, Horst Gunther, passed away in 1992 and since then I am led to beieve that an Austrian company has taken over the moulds and still produce these models.

 

I am throwing myself on the mercy of the excellent knowledge that you guys have of Continental moddelling and would like to know if anyone has knowledge of a website or where I can purchase some of these Gunther products. I believe the company who now is in production of these is called Modellbau Kastner, of Burmoos, Austria.

I did find the catalog eventually http://blaetterkatalog.weinert-modellbau.de/

Lots of detail bits at the back, (from about page 150 or so) but nothing I recognised as Gunther, probably still best to email.

May have been superseded by Weinert's own products anyway.
