Please feel free to add any pictures, including any of the convoys heading to Swanage. Last time we went chasing them, we lost / left the binoculars (Large Naval pair) on a train to Finsbury Park. That, sort of put paid to that...as they were my mate's birthday present (From his Missus) !!! Did manage to cop a couple previously tho', while on holiday at Pilmoor, Yorks. Happy days.... Cheers. Bert Cheese Posted May 12, 2013 Share Posted May 12, 2013 What a great day out...the weather held out nicely and the timetable recovered from some early hiccups in short time too. I was there on Saturday from 0900-1830 or so, managed to get 5 round trips in, took 90 odd photos, and a visit to the Bankes Arms at Corfe for the alefest...Art Brew's Spanked Monkey IPA is highly recommended btw... Well done all round and I look forward to next year when D8568 and 50026 appear! As for the photos, most were of the loco portrait variety taken within station confines, nothing wrong there but I've picked a few out with people in to bring a bit of life into the scenes? I'm enjoying the further pictures. A great idea to paint the class 20s in LT liveries, though I'm not sure it really suits them. Ceptic, thanks for the shot of the M7. A real joy to finally drive a real train...a boyhood dream of mine came true at last!
