bagpipes331
Hi, I use a Mac, and have found this free download track design program. I don't wish to load Windows on to my computer, so cannot use Templot. Has anyone tried XTrkCAD, and if so was any type of drawing software download required? Thanks. Hi, You don't need Windows to run Templot on a Mac. You can use Codeweavers Crossover, which doesn't contain any Microsoft code: http://www.codeweavers.com But first you need to decide between Templot and XTrackCad. Templot is intended for hand-built track, it is not really suitable for ready-made track such as Peco. XTrackCad is fine for Peco and similar, but not very useful for handbuilt track. There are lots of RMweb members using these programs. regards, Martin.
