RNAD Dean Hill - Paint and Repair Shop

Recommended Posts

I was looking at using this building for a small narrow gauge layout and I was wondering if anyone had any decent photos or drawings of the building. I've had a search around the web and found mainly small photos from which I know what one elevation looks like.

The building in question is this one : http://www.subbrit.org.uk/sb-sites/sites/d/dean_hill_rnad/index34.shtml - it appears to have had at least 2, possibly 3 tracks entering but it isn't clear if all tracks exit from the back of the building or if they terminate inside the building.

If anyone can help that would be great.

Thanks Folks,

Since posting I found the company that lets the buildings out now and there are floor plans for the buildings here : http://www.deanhillpark.co.uk/commercial-properties.php?industrial=1

From the floor plan it looks like 2 tracks in with the right track having an inspection pit. 4 Large windows on each side and 3 large windows on the back wall. Small door on right hand wall as well.

I think I'll use modellers license and have three tracks in.

Cheers

Andy

P.s. if you look at Bing Maps, it shows all of the track still in situ.
