Hi,

I'm hoping there is someone out there with a micrometer and some code 40 flatbottom track!

If there is I'd really like to know the width of the head of the rail and the width of the foot as well.

Hoping this will help in making a quick jig from a CAD drawing.

Brilliant! Thanks Mike - spot on and I'd allowed 0.5mm and it seems it's 0.508 which I'm hoping is close enough! It's the 2mm association rail I was planning on using but I might try another direct email as well.

Thanks again.

Only just come across this post so I'm not sure if you got a definitive answer about 2mm Scale Association rail.

With my cheapo electronic vernier from Maplins I find the following dimensions:

Head width: 0.35mm

Foot width: 0.93mm

Height: 1.02mm (exactly 40 thou)
