deeslexia
Hi I am not really into model railways, but love making very small dioramas with cars and buses such as the very basic Corgi MM in both derelict and new . I am fine making scenery etc, but the electrics are new for me. However, during an unexpected visit to the East Anglia Transport Museum I rode on a London Transport tram, which transpired to be the very one which fascinated a small child outside Chessington Zoo in the 50s. I would love to create a small working layout with a pair of motorised Corgi [ toy?] trams which seem enormous at 1/64 !! I guess it's not a serious option unless I opt for the correct LCC prototype for the Corgi model, but I prefer the London Transport livery . Charlie from CCD card models on e-bay has gifted me with some side boards and destination downloads to impart a touch more detail . It will be some time before I can start on the layout, but I will post pics of the enhanced trams in due course . dee

RMweb Gold SHMD Posted July 29, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 29, 2013 Hello Dee and welcome, I love that Diorama, as it reminds me of my childhood upbringing in Melbourne Australia. We had an Abandoned/derelict car next to a wooden fence in the back yard. Wonderful work. Kev. (Must ask me dad what car that was!)
