Looking @ Dp Tonight, .........

I think I have taken more to piece's, than I have put together...........

But, I have learnt a lot,...some of you, create model layout's you never complete and start another, then another.

A learning curve I suppose.

My creation of DP,in my own way, I can take out most of the item's, modify, upgrade, practice new "skills" on the occasional dining table.

Very few, item's, are permanently, glued, in place.

Even the backscene I could renew, if required, for it is anchored in place, with velcro.

A list of thoughts', compiled.......during my week's break, with Kal & Jaz. walking the dog, foraging mushroom's, and also at the Spalding Show.

Both platforms' too remove and complete.

Foot over bridge to complete.

Produce a new DP Signal Box, to 1:76 scale, (scratchbuilt).

Renew, the Priory Tunnel Portal.

Possibly progress, the 6. signal's required for DP.(or have 2. men at each end, with matching flag's).

A possibility of removing the ditch wall, replacing it with PIR.

So, that is just a few of them........... :O

Moorings', to you,

am now back in the deep south,  not attending Warley this year, will be going to Broadstairs (Kent) exhibition on the 29/30th Nov.

In the above post,I tried to take a pic with the webcam, but was unable to get a close up in focus, they are are better for pics over 18 inches.

So, tried with my Panasonic,Lumix.

The backscene you see in the video, is    Celotex,   a foam cavity insulation board, used in the building industry.

In it's raw state, with the aluminium foil still on.

I hope to attempt, making it sometime next year.........16.foot long   at 300.feet high, which will be reduced to scale.........

your efforts on the roofline and the walkway are really lifting this area.....

once you put the ballast back down permanently....when you are happy with the way the tracks work....the next millennia or so LOL this will make for great photographs. We have left loose ballast down in the past for ages...it rarely interferes with the running (careful near points) with so much excellent detailing in place its a shame to see the bare peco

You'll be please to know I am winning with the salt finish too on the VDUs......can you pop me up a picture of the colours an upright should be, and the colours a hanger should be. The extra coats of paint ...slowly.....get rid of the 'rough' finish. I am also painting the electronic boards and think once on the layout with everything else they will not be so obvious to nit pic. I'll add pictures later for you to see the progress.I think the drawback is the product needs soak up some paint first, and it strengthens it, so hopefully the little bars are not so fragile. Hope you still have the missing pair, else I can try to mock a couple up.
