jcredfer Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 Now then ...... .... is it better to paint the Bumpers and then glue them onto the posts .... risking damage to the primer ..... ... or - glue them first and then add the primer .... risking glue damage to the first coat of primer ..... ... on the other hand painting them first lessens the risk of paint obscuring the crisp joint between the post and the bumper ......... In the pic. above, you can see, I have scrapped off the primer,at the lowest part of the uprights. The "Foam Buffers", are made of evergreen channel, a small spot of glue... the channel then,should clip on to the upright. Still a Bit tricky, yesterday........after all the Pave' section's.............. Still Lars appear's happy that I got there first, but I diid say I would buy the sticky buns and tea..............
