Jack00
Thought i would share my small layout in this section aswel as the 'layout topics' section. St.Agnes, Cornwall, roughly 7miles from Truro, was a station on the Newquay to Chacewater branchline. The island platform, trap points and signal box could recieve 1 train in each direction, either a train heading for Newquay or a train heading for Chacewater, Truro and beyond. The branchline was high on Beachings list, closing to passenger traffic in February 1963, still open for occasional goods workigs between Newquay and Redruth, Truro etc mainly vegetables, coal, misc. Eventually closing to all traffic in 1964. I've managed to make a good start on the layout. Scratchbuilding the station building, goods shed, road bridge and eventually signal box. Unfortunantly i dont have permission (yet) to reproduce prototype pictures. But there are pictures on the Cornwall Railway Society webpage. Or a google search... Thats all for now Jack
