I notice two things are slightly different to the first, the plastic casing is grey vs black, and secondly, there is an additional component soldered to the bottom. I have circled the component on the image. Does anyone know what the story is behind this change? It looks like an after addition. Both motors carry the same version number. The thick tracks are power routing and the three legged component on the other side is a 78xx voltage regulator and the capacitor (required for stability with such regulators) was left off the original design.
