The Fifth Minstead Model Railway Exhibition

 

Will take place at:

 

Minstead Village Hall


Minstead, near Lyndhurst, Hampshire SO43 7FX


On Saturday 14th December 2013

 

Minstead is situated in the New Forest just south of junction 1 on the M27.

 

The exhibition is planned to feature 11 layouts together with eight trade stands and refreshments.

 

It is being held in aid of the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

The 11 Layouts confirmed to attend are:

  1. Frogpool: a Small Rural GWR Branch Line Somewhere in Cornwall - O Gauge
  2. Greenfields: Running Through the Countryside Somewhere in the South of England - N Gauge.
  3. Gorringe Park: Diesel Depot Running Locos from 2000 to the Present Day - 00 Gauge DCC.
  4. Kiddies Corner: Thomas the Tank Drive a Train - 00 Gauge
  5. Legoland World: a Layout Made Out of Lego
  6. Melcombe Abbas: a Branch Line in Southern Dorset - 00 Gauge
  7. Modbury Torr: based in North West Devon on a Branch Line on Dartmoor - 3mm/TT
  8. Rheingauz: the Section of the River Rhein in West Germany With Working Boats - Z Gauge.
  9. Surprise County: American Steam/diesel - HO
  10. Toby's South West Street Tramway - G Scale
  11. Victoria Ridge: American Street Cars Museum and Shop Outlet G Gauge

 

Together with the following eight Trade Stands:

  1. AAR Models: Model Diecast Cars, Buses, and Thomas Items.
  2. DLMR: Mr Bits With His Accessories and Spare Parts For Model Railways
  3. John B Henderson: Second Hand and Nearly New Railway Items
  4. Mainline and Maritime: Books
  5. Ron Lines: DCC and New/Second Hand Model Railway Items
  6. Trackside Signs Miniature Signs For All Different Items on Your Model Layout
  7. 3 Counties Models: Second Hand Nearly New Model Railway Items
  8. Western Models: Hand Made Model Buildings in N OO and O Gauge All Made from Cardboard

 

There will also be:

  • Refreshments and a Bar
  • Free parking

The only location that is not wheelchair friendly is the refreshment area, however assistance will be available if required.
