aaron14xx
G'day all I am to take delivery of a Triang Baltic tank tomorrow (15/12/2013 AEST) and sadly, it has no box. I'm hoping that someone here gives me the dimensions (length, width and height) of the box. This will enable me to give the Baltic tank, and perhaps any other Triang locos of mine a home.O Once the box is done, I'll upload it here, thus giving people the chance to make their own replica boxes, but with subtle changes to the design, meaning that people can't make up these boxes and sell them off as real Triang boxes. Also, if this topic is in the wrong forum, please advise me which one is the best to post in. Regards, aaron14xx
Il Grifone
Sorry I can't help with the box dimensions, but the 'Collectable/Vintage' Forum under 'Special Interests' might be a better place for your request. Someone there might actually have one.
Campaman
Wouldn't trying to sell them off as real Triang boxes be classed as miss selling?
aaron14xx
Campaman, I personally would never sell them off as being real Triang boxes, I know how wrong that is, but if they are released to the rmweb community, changes will be made to the design, for example: - where the Triang logo is - watermarks will be added, saying "not real Triang" - the box might be coloured in an off shade of the Triang red.
