(16 films including TT, Ladykillers, Man in the White Suit etc plus other films like Dead of Night and Scott of The Antarctic - and The Magnet, which features the Liverpool Overhead Railway). Interesting, thanks for that, although I believe the film was shot in 1952 rather than 1953? The take certainly took several gos, as the S&D train was an ordinary service train, which wasn't under the control of the film makers. I think it took 7 or 8 attempts to 'get it right'.
