Peter Kazmierczak
Hello All, Received a CD from the online magazine "Railway Herald" today, that I sent for a few days ago, containing all editions up to issue 200. However it doesn't seem to want to work on my computer. When I go to properties it states that the disc has free space = 0 bytes and total size = 0 bytes. Tried some other CDs and they work fine. Any ideas? Do I have a duff CD. I'll ask IT at work tomorrow. Anyone else got this CD and does it work? Thanks, Peter
David Rickard
Sounds duff to me. I'd hazard a guess it's a burned CD, and whoever burned it didn't do it quite right. Probably forgot to press the button to make it do so... Try it on another PC if you can as it's not impossible your PC doesn't like that particular CD, but I reckon it's just not quite right. RMweb Gold RFS Posted January 23, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 23, 2010 Manufactured CDs will always show zero free space as they're finalized ones which cannot be added to. It's possible this CD does not have autoplay - it just contains all the PDF files for you to view. Does Windows Explorer show the files and do they load if you double-click on them?
