RMweb Premium JDW Posted February 5, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 5, 2014 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lima-47594-RESOURCEFUL-in-BR-RES-livery-MINT-BOXED-/221366126253?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item338a7306ad Not sure where to put this - under the 47 group seems as good as any. I spotted this on eBay earlier, at first I thought the picture was backwards, but the lettering is all the right way around. As far as I know, no real loco was ever painted like this - I assume it was a Lima error, printing the livery the opposite way on the opposite side? Or have I missed something?! mossdp
I seem to recall that this model was meant to be issued as a limited edition but somehow some parts of the livery ended the wrong way round and it was part of the standard range instead. 47707 Holyrood
It was indeed a Lima error. Here is a pic of the real machine in the correct RES livery: http://www.class47.co.uk/c47_zoom_v3.php?img=0998000258000
