Not necessarily a layout I intend to build, at least in the short term, but I thought I'd put it on the forum anyway.

It's set in the present-day Black Country inspired by Wolverhampton steel terminal with electrified Stour Valley main line passing above it. Much like Lifeboatman's "Tor Bay" it uses Kato Unitrack on the visible portions and Peco Setrack on hidden tracks. I've avoided using problematic reverse curves with the tight-radius points, so it ought to run reliably.

The upper level is jusr a oval with storage sidings. The idea is that the four bi-directional roads each hold 4 or 5 coach multiple unit which can run through the scenic section in either direction, and the two outer roads each hold a longer locomotive-hauled train, probably a freight.

The low-level yard represents the steel terminal, served by a small two-road fiddle yard beneath the main line loop. The road that tucks under the high level fiddle yard disappearing into a low relief building.
