DCB Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 The Signalmans links take you to some dodgy photos showing a 64XX in fresh GWR livery in 1955 (?) and 6412 rusting at swindon in lined green with a late type cab whereas it was much more likely to have been rusting at Buckfastleigh and it certainly had an earlier cab in 1959 with lined green livery when it pulled the last Monmouth trains and has an earlier cab in preservation. I have a model of 6412 I built from a hacked about Hornby 8750 in late crest black livery which I have been meaning to re number for the last 20 years!
