Any suggestions very welcome Have you tried to contact Howes Of Oxford as they hold spares for Heljan, if they cannot help they might be able to advise you for a recommended replacement motor. Hairy Bear Digital Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 I re-motored mine a couple of months ago using mashima 1024 as there are no motors available from Heljan or Howes. The biggest problem was getting the old flywheels off to reuse. They then needed to be loctited on to recreate the overall motor/flywheel length. Overall not to difficult job.
