RMweb Premium acg5324 Posted May 3, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 3, 2014 Quite a few new images loaded up to my website but after following Google Earth all the way from Penzance to Exeter does anyone have a location idea for these 2 images....I've not managed to pick them up. 50002 approaching a station..... http://bit.ly/1iOw27I The other location will probably more difficult as its out in the sticks 50012 with a short rake of Mk2's heavy on the first class! http://bit.ly/1hmBizV As they came with 3 other images from Devon & Cornwall I am assuming they are the same area. Many thanks Andy
Tim V
The first one could be Tiverton Junction.

RMweb Premium Kris Posted May 3, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 3, 2014 I would agree about the second one being Cornwall, somewhere just west of St Austel would be my guess as you can see what appears to be china clay spoil tips behind. Irishswissernie
Second photo. On the descent from Polperro to Buckshead tunnel east of Truro , there is a photo on page 110 in John Vaughan's Illustrated History of the Cornish Main Line taken from same view point.
