AMJ
They have been talking about this for years! With many towns getting the vibe for narrow gauge railway after Welsh Highland extension to port. Mooted new terminus was suggested as the coach park some time ago.
RMweb Gold Tim Hall Posted May 7, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 7, 2014 On my last visit, about 2 years ago, they were saying that they wouldn't extend, due to the cost, and I seem to remember that there was a problem with part of the route being next to a less than scenic car scrapyard or similar. AndyJH
This is long over due, it would certainly make it better for the town and railway. As it would surely attract more visitors to the town and it will give a better starting point for the railway. Hopefully there plans come to fruition.
