  1. Great updates, will you be including any 0-4-0's or 0-6-0s? As you colour scheme would look great on a short wheel basis loco.
  2. Great photo of the line up you have, this thread does certainly gives some great inspiration
  3. Interesting idea, you could also have the following scenario if done correctly. 1) the fiddle yard that we currently have. 2) the station section that we currently have ("Durham railway") 3) board 3 is the small viaduct/bridge that belongs to board 2 ("Durham railway") 4) another new board will be built featuring a plain embankment (Evenwood) 5) features an embankment with road bridge 6) end fiddle yard means you could have 6 boards
  4. Sounds great, will you be having interchange sidings aswell as a station?
  5. Sounds like a good idea, you could have the a small junction for the private owners line joining the mainline with a Signal box and a set of catch points.
  6. Great looking progress, nice see the scenery section coming along. I agree with daniel8910 perhaps adding a turntable and a road going on to the mainline could be added, it would certainly add extra operating movements. Or Your could add perhaps a goods yard to go with the station instead.
  7. Julian, what locomotives and stock do you run on the layout?
  8. Great looking layout, very smart and well presented
  9. Ive had the same issue, and had been searching today for a solution. Ive decided to replace the encoder altogether, although im some what confused as why the Junior has 3 wires going to the motor, any idea why this would be?

  14. fantastic weathering, once i get my layouts electrics and scenery sorted. I hope to do some myself.
  15. I have to say thats a nice looking shunting layout, i guess having the locos set at DCC helps maintain a slower speed.
