You will see a picture of an Unknown make of an OO gauge die cast model of the small Neals GM crane."   (although I think it is a white metal kit ???????)

See picture here ;

Does anyone know which company produced the model, or even have one available ?

Thanks.

The only place I have  ever seen these little cranes used is on deep sewer  pipeline contracts where they are/were used to lift materials up and down the manhole shafts . They used to be called 'trench cranes' in the industry.

Maybe they were used elsewhere before widespread forklift use but not seen any evidence.

I  FOUND  IT  !

It is still available from "Sgt's Mess", see here ;

http://www.sgtsmess.co.uk/vehicles/civilian-vehicles/pl3-qa-jones-mobile-crane.html

(I AM chuffed at finding it.)

Please note that "Sgt's Mess" kits are 20mm scale, which can mean anything from 1/72nd to 1/87th, but on their website they claim their kits are 1/72nd.

Also available for Model railways are (maybe others) ;
