Northpoint
I'm in serious danger of hijacking my own thread here, so back to the point. Now with LED lights: I really need to change the rear light to a Canadian single light. I've also removed the horn and filled the gap (not finished yet). A new horn will be placed in front of the dynamic brake fan. I also noticed this morning whilst browsing photos that they all had winterisation hatches over the front colling fan. I shall have to look in my detail parts box and see what I have.
Supaned
are you looking to fit ditch lights as well?
Northpoint
If somebody can give me a wiring diagram I'll give it a try. It's currently on the rolling road to run it in a bit.

jsp3970
Don' forget the winterization hatch. 'Miniatures by Eric' makes them, part H33. http://www.miniaturesbyeric.com/itm00102.htm Nothing to do with the company, except I picked up a couple for my Walthers F40PH's. shortliner
After watching Nicks video, I followed one of the other links to a run-by of the QUOTE " Ill-fated 6444" - what happened to it?
Northpoint
I think it was involved in an accident and written off.
pH
Here's the TSB report on the accident: http://www.tsb.gc.ca/eng/enquetes-investigations/rail/2012/R12T0038/R12T0038.asp Edit - 6444 is variously reported as 'severely damaged' and 'wrecked' in the accident, but I can't find any confirmation that it has actually been removed from the roster. A winterisation hatch is in the plan. Trouble is, I can't just go down to my local hobby shop and browse the detail parts! I shall have to consider what else I might need to make and order to Eric worthwhile.
