I have fitted a sound decoder to one of these loco's, everything works sound-wise but the interior stays firmly off regardless of direction. It is a 21pin ESU decoder so I swapped the decoder for a 21 pin ZIMO sound decoder. Now I find that using the F11 function one end of the cab light can be turned on but not the other end. Is this a usual function with this loco or is there something else I should look for? Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

With a 4-function non-sound decoder, one end illuminates on F1 and the other on F2 (F0 works the directional headcode and tail lights).It may be that you need to remap one of the functions for the other end cab light with the sound decoder.
