cheesysmith
I have almost finished my class 13 conversion of two Hornby 08s, and was looking for transfers for it. I came across precision transfers who do custom TOPS data panels, you just have to input the data that you require printing. What I'm asking is does anybody know what the data would be in the panel for the 13s? Like what's the brake force, route availability?
michaelp
No photos unfortunately but you may get the info you need at the link below as to what was on the data panel, the data panel would probably be set out the same as the Class 08. I have just checked the link, I think it might have the info you need, the RA is shown by the axle weight. RMweb Premium Clive Mortimore Posted June 29, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 29, 2014 While trying to find a clear photo showing the class 13 data panel I put in several combinations of Class 13 master and slave locomotive, into google. With just "master and slave locomotive" I was surprised that the 9th photo was of my old layout PIg Lane well before any porn master and slave photos There is a class 13 in the photo. Edit, Hi Cheesy Can we see a photo of your model please. I have two Hornby 08s, one with no cab, waiting to become Tinsley hump shunter.
cheesysmith
Thanks for the above. I have a habit of not trusting Wikipedia. Having said that, the above info looks right, but the brake force looks low at only 37 tonnes. Also, wasnt the top speed only 15 mph? As to the model, I'll post photos when it's finished. It was made from a Hornby 08408 model for the slave, and a non sound Europa for the master. This combo is good for 2 of the 3 loco's. With the rt models conversion pack, it was easy.
