RMweb Premium Siberian Snooper Posted August 5, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 5, 2014 Hi, I am putting together the cambrian kit for the Midland Railway 10/12 ton van and I have a queryabout the brake arrangement. My interpretation of the destructions is that it should have brakes both sides but only one brake lever, can any one please clarify the situation. I am modelling it as it would be just post grouping and still in MR. Many thanks SS
Spitfire2865
Looking at the picture on cambrians site, it looks like independent brakes both sides.

Spitfire2865
I actually have a dimensional drawing of the diag 664?(the one youre building) and it appears to have independent brakes. I doubt it would have one brake lever and 2 sets of brakes. Usually its 2 levers. One brake.

Thanks Spitfire that settles it, two sets of independent brakes, I thought it a bit odd to have only one brake lever, as there is no cross shaft that I can see in the model photo on the Cambrian site and I prefered to confirm my suspicions before sticking the second set on.
