Karhedron
Please can anyone tell me where I might be able to find plans, drawings or even just dimensions of some of the smaller GWR coaling stages. I am not looking for the large brick-built ones like Didcot but the smaller ones like Stratford-upon-Avon as shown below. Any help or pointers very welcome. http://www.warwickshirerailways.com/gwr/gwrsa1448.htm
RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted August 6, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 6, 2014 There might be something in the Wiltshire Records Office at Chippenham as they have a lot of GWR drawings from Swindon which seem to be largely M&EE plant and buildings etc - they are listed, rather cumbersomely alas, online although the last time I had a plough through I couldn't find what you have in mind. Another example is Fishguard & Goodwick. Sorry but I no longer have the URL.

Thanks for the suggestion. I might have a go at that. Miss Prism
Here's the one at Oxford. Apart from maybe the drawbridge shute, I don't think any of these coal stage shacks were standardised in terms of dimension - the framing and cladding seem to be whatever was handy and suitable at the time.
