Bernard Lamb
The C&PRR has been in existence since 1989 and thus 2014 is the 25th anniversary. Several special events are taking place. I have visited the line a few times and call in for a coffee when I am cycling in the area. Today was the 20th anniversary of the first train running. My German family were over in the UK so I took them along for a trip. The first train was a rerun of the original Wain Hill Shuttle with Haversham and Isis pulling and pushing. Then came 1369 with steam power and this trip carried on to the junction with the former Thame branch and the new run round loop. A good example of how to lay track in 12" to the foot scale. Hope it is of interest. They enjoyed the day, even if 1369 is rather smaller than 18201 that serves their local station from time to time.
