dseagull
Following the sad death of Trev last year, the shop closed earlier this year. However, looking on the Eastbourne Herald website to see the match report from Eastbourne Town's victory over my beloved Hailsham Town, I noticed this excellent news; http://www.eastbourneherald.co.uk/news/local/train-buff-saves-seaside-model-shop-from-axe-1-6241373

dseagull
Just as an update, I've popped in a few times now and Sebastian seems to be making a good go of it. Secondhand is a little sparse, as apparently people are buying it almost instantly! There are still a few gaps, unsurprisingly as the old stock was sold off very cheaply at the end, but there is a reasonable range of bits with more to come I'm told. Anyway, he's very friendly and makes you feel welcome - much like my other regular haunt, The Hobby Box in Uckfield, it is the sort of model shop you feel comfortable taking your wife and kids into. lofty1966
Was in here on Saturday (rare visit to my hometown in the UK), nice to see a young chap (Sebastian) so enthusiastic. Competitive prices on 'New' stock and good prices on previously owned stuff.
