As for as i know it was built with them but i can see much more detail, just done a quick search so apologies if it has been covered previously. Deltic 7 Posted September 5, 2014 Share Posted September 5, 2014 As I understand it, No.8 received the square buffer cowls with the new buffers, fitted mid 60's, and the rest of the class had the original cowls cut back to fit the new buffer type.
