Nelson Jackson
Hello everyone, I am looking for a halfords rattle can that would be a close match for southern railway olive green? It's not actually for a southern engine but a UTA one, the colour was said to be very close to that used on the southern railway. So if anyone has any ideas as to what can would be the best match and what suitable colour primer it would need then I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance Nelson
Bruciethefish
Nearest I've found, if available, is Land Rover green, though I don't recall the exact colour designation..
RMweb Gold Corbs Posted September 19, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 19, 2014 Available on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Aerosol-Spray-Paint-Land-Rover-Range-Sport-Freelander-Discovery-Defender-mix-/280909634225?pt=UK_DIY_Material_Paint_Varnish_MJ&var=580110429139&hash=item416784dab1
crompton 33
I would use white primer. Some motor factors will make up spray cans with the colour you need.
Nelson Jackson
Thanks everyone for your comments, I will try and get my hands on the can memtioned above but if not then I've also seen a railmatch SR dark olive green in a spray can, has anyone had any experience with this and is it a good match? Many thanks Nelson.
N15class
I like the precision SR olive. Not in rattle cans though.
