ChrisR
With about 10 weeks to go I'm giving our exhibition a bump up. Unfortunately Walmington-On-Sea has had to withdraw from our exhibition, but we are pleased to have Astolat Group's 'Priorsfield' layout and Luton MRC's '03.24 8th August 1963' diorama. The club layout Orestone Quay will also be making another appearance for you to enjoy it. Chris
ChrisR
The club exhibition is now only two weeks away so guess i's time to bring it to the fore again. Apologies I've been absent from doing this periodically. The only extra to the list is Vintage Hornby. The footprint plan for both halls is also there so you can see your placements. Jon020
Looking forward to being just a punter this year, albeit maybe with a short stint helping out on any 2 or 7mm layouts that might give the operators a chance for a tea break. Maybe I'll be back next year and see about doing something with the scalefour society to bring their presence too.

ShuntShed
Hey everyone Just got back from a great show with some fantastic layouts on show. Here is a video of the event that I took today. RMweb Gold bcnPete Posted May 17, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 17, 2015 A thoroughly enjoyable day yesterday at the show. Many thanks to Chris R and all the stewards for the warm welcome, help and general being well looked after all day. Good selection of layouts and personally was happy to see Waton, the Great Train Robbery and my favourite Oldham King Street Parcels which I would have stayed in front of all day had I not been exhibiting Kyle myself! Thanks to Jon020 for taking the reigns allowing me to have a wander and it was good to meet up with some 2mmFS guys, RMWebbers, BHMRC members (from when I belonged to the club as a teenager) and some new faces. I will post a separate summary on my layout on my blog later today having had time to reflect on it. Thanks very much - See you next year but back as a punter again for me

Kyle Of Lochalsh: 02:45 Santa Barbara: 04:08 Avon Junction 12:13 Thank you ShuntShed for filming Avon Junction, & actually managing to capture something moving on the layout, as it had more gremlins around it than usual Would also like to thank Chris and the Burgess Hill club for their hospitality on Saturday. RMweb Gold roundhouse Posted May 19, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 19, 2015 Another thoroughly enjoyable show. Santa Barbara had a few hiccups at the start of the day until we sorted out the few frieght cars which didn't like being next to each other, then it settled down quite nicely (should have stuck with the modern locos for the following days show at Stow as it didn't perform as well with the SP / UP merger era). We were well watered and fed during the show and good to see it busy all day. Looking forward to next years show already.
ChrisR
First, Thank you to all exhibitors and traders who attended the club exhibition last Saturday and gave us another good show. Numbers held up comparable with last year and everywhere looked busy all day. I hope you all enjoyed it, and thank you for the above comments. Second, thanks Shuntshed for taking the video of the exhibition - the second in two years I think? There are views and parts of layouts on it that I am still finding I missed out seeing when I was doing my 'round' of the layouts! The date for next year's exhibition is set as Saturday 14 May 2016 at the same venue. Most comments we have received are positive and we have passed them on to the relevant people (notably the very busy caterers!!) Hope to see you all again next year, if not at another show in between. Chris
