BodminJunction
Hi All, hope you have all had a lovely Christmas, had a few hours today to play, so weathered my first loco and a couple of carriages, please let me know what you think, I didn't want to make the loco look too dirty or rusty, or on it's way to the scrap yard, but more of a in use condition, so soot from the chimney, oil and normal track grime
BRealistic
Plenty of views BJ, but I think you'll need to throw some light onto the subjects before you get any responses. Too much in shadow at the mo.

Too much in shadow at the mo. Many Thanks will add a couple more pics I took last night on the layout, the lighting is far better in the loft than the living room, hope this helps you to see the loco better
Welsh Yorkie
Perhaps someone else can confirm this; but I think the tank tops should be weathered black, not weathered green.
Martyn T
I admire the courage to have a go and hope you have achieved what you hoped to, I haven't had that courage yet. If I might point out one small thing with the best of intentions, the inside of the chimney needs blacking up, it's far too clean and goldy.

Thanks it's the first time I've had ago at weathering a loco, pleased with the overall look, but realise it's something new so all feedback is appreciated, wanted to weather it as a preserved loco, so kept cleanish and brass polished, but also used. With weathering just have ago, I put it off, but watched loads of videos on YouTube and just had ago
