I've recently scrapped a number of 20+ year-old kitbuilt wagons that had gone beyond any interest I could muster in repairing them AGAIN. The couplings (Kadee #26 - the plastic ones!) were still like new but for some of the tails needing re-blackening. I've recycled the shafts and centering springs into new #242 boxes (£2.50 for 10 pairs) on the replacement wagons. John Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
