Tim V Posted February 26, 2015 Author Share Posted February 26, 2015 Thanks for the praise. We certainly had a good time, the Hollanders are very welcoming and receptive. Their command of technical English was impressive, much better than my feeble efforts at any other language! Yes I think the Box raised a lot of interest. There are similarities between Dutch control and UK control, so much so that some professional Hollander railwaymen introduced themselves. We had paid a visit to the Utrecht railway museumn (plug it's very good) on Thursday where we had looked around the signal box there, so were able to make comparisons.
