RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted February 21, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 21, 2015 I don't get any more adverts now than before, typically banner ones at page-top. Drop down? Not seen here.
trisonic
I’m not seeing any -apart from the rather mild ad for BRM in the Forum Index. I have the ad blocker maxed out on my iMac. Best, Pete.
Andy Y
Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing please? It sounds like your system may be infected with some adware.

RMweb Premium mezzoman253 Posted February 21, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 21, 2015 As a matter of interest how does one obtain and post a screen shot. Mike On the top RHS of your PC keyboard there should be a key marked "Print Screen/SysRq" . If you push that whatever is on the screen is captured. Then go to Windows symbol in the bottom LH corner, click on that and navigate to " All Programs" click that then find "Accessories". Click that and find "Paint" click that. That will open the Paint program. Find Edit, click that and go to Paste. Your screen grab will appear in the program window. You can then Save, or Save As, to where you want it. To post that, go to the topic and reply using Full Editor and follow the upload instructions. HTH Rob

RMweb Gold RFS Posted February 21, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 21, 2015 As a matter of interest how does one obtain and post a screen shot. Mike If you're running Windows 7 or later, then the snipping tool is an easy way of saving an image. (Click start, all programs, accessories.) R Marshall
When I went to sign in this evening, an advert for Hilton (the hotels I think) obscured the sign in boxes. I bypassed it, because I could see enough to input my user name and guessed that hitting enter would give me another attempt to put in my password without the ad reappearing. Anyone else troubled by this?
