Austrag
I have a need for some very small parts 1 mm thickness in black, using a plastic which can be welded with poly cement. Can any member direct me to the best and cheapest source please. David
Quarryscapes
Are you looking for a material for use with your own printer or do you require a service that will do the printing also? Poly cement is normally used on Styrene, which I don't think is a material in use for 3D printing (of course I could well be wrong there!). Poly cement may still work well in sticking styrene items to a 3d printed item in one of the more 'porous' print materials, like Shapeways WSF by virtue of dissolved styrene getting into the gaps, much the way plastic chairs are stuck to timber sleepers. Haven't tried, but may be worth a test piece to experiment with?
