Was LMS 3F 7410's original number 16493?

Whilst doing research for my brother's Bachmann model of 47410, I discovered that on Wikipedia the 47410's batch first had MR style numbers;  47410's being No. 16493.

But on all other sources that I have, namely RailUk and BR Database, say that its original number as-built was 7410!

If anyone could shed some light on this, I would be very helpful.

Thanks guys,

On this Wikipedia page, the numbering details are given.

Note, not all were numbered in the correct sequence, but as far as I can tell, this list is accurate.
