Vazon sliding rail bridge, Keadby - timelapse experiment

Playing around with the timelapse feature of my camera, I was lucky enough to be there for a couple of boats passing through the Vazon sliding rail bridge near Keadby, Lincs, followed shortly after by one of the Drax biomass trains.

What do you think? Better as a normal video maybe? I reckon a normal speed video would be a bit slow with the long wait between boat action and the next train.

I wonder if timelapse is better suited to scenes of busy comings and goings, like the ones Network Rail put up of engineering work, or a busy terminus.

That was with a 3s interval between shots, and using a fence post for a tripod.

Edit: don't blame me for the selection of videos that YouTube suggests at the end!

Much later edit: just played it again, and the selection at the end are much better than before.
