rovex Posted May 4, 2015 Share Posted May 4, 2015 Hi all I've been wondering for some time whether it would be possible to design and have printed the various patterns of coach bogie used by the GWR - I'm setting aside for the moment as to whether this would be a financially viable thing to do given the amount of time that I would need to invest and the recent increase in printing cost - call it a challenge I've set myself. However first stumbling block is finding some decent scale drawings of the bogies - I've searched my library (russell's four volumes and Harris) and have looked online and have come up blank. For reasons of my own I've a mind to start with the 8ft 6 inch design used on the articulated stock. jcm@gwr Posted May 4, 2015 Share Posted May 4, 2015 Dean, I'm not sure if it's available on-line, but HMRS did a book on the Syphons, which included scale drawings of quite a few bogies, (if not all).
