Royal Train Roof

I am trying to find some sketch drawings or better of the current royal train coach roofs - so that I can locate and add all the various lumps and bumps. I've found some video footage which gives a fairly good angled short of the Mark 3 stock, but not of the very complex Mark 2 roofs. Any suggestions where to look.

 

I'm also having trouble finding a good colour match for the grey.

I used Railfreight Grey for the roof and underframe of my Royal Train coaches, as recommended (I think) by Hurst Models in the etched overlay kits. Looks OK to me.

Very useful indeed - especially the ones of the rather complex roofs on the Mark 2 stock. Thank goodness for roof ribbing so you can work out what they all align with 8)

Hi EP,

 

I might have some more - these were from earlier this year, I still have the "Hooton" day(s) to check, I'm pretty certain I photographed every vehicle, from a similar vantage point. I will have a looksee later.
