Here's one built by a friend of mine many years ago. (BB W-irons, Maso brake gear, Exactoscale drawbar hooks.) It shows up the need to continue the side stanchions on the underside of the side and the face of the solebar.

Just watched the Mali version on Youtube. The structure is certainly a bit disorienting, but I can see the meditative aspects. I imagined myself in a train compartment, watching the scenery go by.
Thanks Mikkel. I tried several other years, but the only one that gave enough models in 1:76 for my showroom was 1954.
Car Mart Ltd had several showrooms around London. I found a nice picture of one of them situated in 1954. It gives me also the possibility to give the showroom a personal touch.
My Car Mart showroom is situated in Northall, and I don't mind if it is an other year. I also created a Northall diorama in the Edwardian era.
That is also a great song. I still regularly listen to their music.
But I have heard that Mr. L.R, Thomas took Miss Estella Havisham after their journey to Farthing to a music hall for some entertainment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMGqgCgcaOQ
Thanks for your kind comment. I've started the station building and will have an entry up as soon as I've made some significant progress. I'm excitied to start something new; feels like I've been working on this house for ever!
